As the production becomes more and more professional and the belts fashion gets closer to the world top notch, China belts industry has wrapped up over 50% of the global market. In the old days when the technics was not that mature, most of the belts were singed during production, which made the touch rugged and hard. But now, as the craftsmanship got improved, the belts are made more delicately and humanely with over 10 types of material including genuine leather, cotton, PU and PVC. Rumor has it that the people now call the belts part of your body, not just an fashion accessory to decorate on.

With the close cooperation with some fashion breeding grounds, like Italy and France, Chinese belts factories produce most trendy items. Don’t be surprised if you find out most belts are made in China in an Italian or French exhibition, because this is more and more a generally accepted rule to most players in the belt industry.

Zero import tax on particular items

China charged some African countries zore import tax on particular items. Some newly added tax-free items cover leather, mineral, textile, wood furniture and so on. In fact, these new items have covered profitable ones from the said african countries.

 This is a very big step forward to show the good will to these african countries. In the mean time, this also shows that China a reliable  and trust-worthy partner. It will facilitate the business between China and these said African countries.

Canton’s Import of leather raw material decreased

Canton’s Import of leather raw material decreased in the first 5 months of this year, according to statistics. It is generally the attributed to the increased price of imported material. For example, the price of steel was USD771/ton in the same period last year, but it is USD927/ton this year.
